Turku University of Applied Sciences (Turku UAS) is seeking to strengthen its team in the field of electrical energy systems.
We are looking for a specialist to act as a project manager for a project related to battery energy storage systems in buildings. In addition, the role includes specialist tasks in other projects of the New Energy research group at Turku UAS, as well as participation in the development and maintenance of laboratories and field measurement systems.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- A relevant higher education degree (a postgraduate degree in battery technology or solar electricity technology is considered an advantage)
- Expertise in battery systems and solar electricity technologies
- Experience in project management
- Practical problem-solving skills in laboratory work
- Programming skills
- Ability to work fluently in English
- Willingness to continuously develop your expertise in a constantly changing environment.

In this position, the work takes place in Finland.

Salary is determined according to the applicant’s education and work experience, following the collective agreement for universities of applied sciences (Sivista AMKTES) applied by Turku UAS.
The work begins on 1 January 2026, or as agreed, and the employment contract is valid until 30 June 2027. A six-month probationary period applies to the position.
