I am Hanna-Riikka, communications secretary, responsible for communication and marketing of Vimpeli municipality.

My job description includes developing a communication strategy, I prepare and distribute bulletins and communications, I manage and develop the municipality's public image and brand, I prepare and publish bulletins about local events, decisions and other significant issues. I am responsible for communicating with the media, manage the municipality's social media accounts and create content for them and respond to social media feedback. I organize and coordinate the municipality's events and information sessions and participate in the planning and implementation of events. I also work in cooperation with other organizations and communities.

I am a returnee to Vimpeli after twenty years away, and I came to work at Vimpeli´s municipal office in April 2023. Vimpeli´s municipal office has many new employees, so it was easy to come into the house, as I immediately felt the youthful and relaxed work atmosphere.

I am the administrative secretary of the municipality of Vimpeli and I have worked for the municipality for 38 years. I have worked in various positions, for example as an office secretary for a technical position in the 90s, from which I moved to the administration department in the 2000s.

My job description at the moment is to participate in document management, I archive and prepare meeting materials and invitations. I participate in meeting arrangements and act as a secretary in meetings if necessary. I prepare meeting minutes and take care of their distribution. I receive and direct documents from the municipalities. I drafted official letters and other documents. I take care of incoming and outgoing mail and participate in financial administrative tasks, such as processing invoices. I am also responsible for official announcements and announcements.
