Submit an application to the employer you want or for the positions you’re interested in
Through Kuntarekry, you can submit an application for short-term substitute positions, i.e. gig work, with municipal employers and wellbeing services counties. Gig work is available continuously, but the need for substitutes is also seasonally high, especially in social and healthcare services, early childhood education, teaching, as well as food and cleaning services.
There are two ways to submit a gig work application in Kuntarekry:
-
By completing the employer’s own substitute recruitment application form
-
By saving an open gig work application in the Kuntarekry system
Through an employer’s own substitute recruitment process, your application is sent directly to that specific employer. However, by using Kuntarekry’s open gig work application form, you can direct your application to several employers in a selected region based on your responses to the interest questions. Your gig work application can be viewed by those employers that use the Kuntarekry recruitment system and that you have indicated interest in on your application form. You can limit the visibility of your application by specifying which job areas or employers you are interested in within a particular commuting area.
Please remember to primarily submit your gig work application through the employer’s own substitute recruitment application form whenever such a form has been published and you are specifically interested in that employer’s short-term positions. Also note that an open gig work application is not automatically transferred to other recruitments that have their own job postings, and employers review gig work applications at varying intervals depending on their substitution needs.
Once you have been interviewed and agreed with the employer on starting gig work, you may receive job offers via the text message service or through the gig calendar. You will always receive detailed information about the procedures directly from the employer.
