We are excited to open a brand‑new international ECE center in Turku, and we are now looking for enthusiastic educators to join us from the very beginning.
As a new daycare, we are building fresh structures, creating our shared culture, and shaping an inspiring international environment where children can learn, explore, and grow. If you are passionate about early childhood education and eager to be part of something new, dynamic, and meaningful, we warmly invite you to join our journey.
As an early childhood education teacher, you will be responsible for implementing pedagogy within your team together with other professionals. Collaboration with families is also an essential part of the role. In our daycare, the skills of every employee are valued, and division of responsibilities is agreed upon together. We ensure a well-functioning structure for teachers’ planning, evaluation, and development time, and our pedagogical culture is reflected in our commitment to the jointly agreed practices. This position is well suited for you if you want to use your expertise, develop and create new ideas, and leave your personal positive mark on the everyday experiences of children and colleagues.
In our pre-primary education, co‑teaching plays a key role, and you will be supported by a wide multidisciplinary team of early childhood professionals: a special education teacher, a language and culture teacher, a preparatory education teacher, a school social worker and psychologist, an ECE digital coordinator, and a skilled work community. You will also be supported by the daycare manager and deputy manager, who are always ready to help.
Qualification requirements: Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) § 26 / § 27.
The working language is English.
The selected candidate must provide the employer with an extract from the criminal records register as specified in section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (Act on Checking the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children, 504/2002).
Experience in pre-primary education is considered an asset.
